Shannon O’Leary Joy
Shannon O’Leary Joy is an environmentalist, ocean advocate and philanthropist. Shannon serves on the Board of Oceans 5, WildAid and on the Executive Committee of Mission Blue / Sylvia Earle Alliance. She also serves as Ambassador at Black Jaguar Foundation and as Executive Director of the EarthSense Foundation which focuses on the protection of our marine ecosystems, the restoration of our forests and the biodiversity of our planet.
Shannon is also an executive producer of documentaries, the successful films “Chasing Coral” – ‘’Mission Blue’’ – ‘’Anote’s Ark’’ – ‘’Ghost Fleet’’ – ‘’Fantastic Fungi’’ – “The Last Animals, “Sharkwater Extinction” and “The Social Dilemma”. These films have brought attention and action to critical global environmental issues.
